My name is Jaime, and I am the proud owner and trainer of Canine Compass LLC!

At Canine Compass, I proudly serve dog owners in South Central Pennsylvania. and surrounding areas, helping local dogs and their families build stronger, more balanced relationships. I am a certified Master Dog Trainer and graduate of Highland K9 School for Dog Trainers, where I received hands-on education in obedience training, behavior modification, service and therapy dog training, detection work, off-leash obedience, and more.

As a local dog trainer in Carlisle, I specialize in behavior modification, working with dogs who struggle with issues such as resource guarding, aggression, and reactivity. My approach is tailored to each dog’s unique personality and the owner’s lifestyle, ensuring real-world results that improve everyday life for both dogs and their families.

In addition to behavior work, I also teach a variety of dog sports, including scentwork, rally obedience, and dock diving, helping local handlers in Cumberland County build confidence, skills, and teamwork with their dogs.

With over 10 years of experience in the pet care industry, I also own Petals and Paws Pet Care, providing personalized pet sitting services for clients throughout Carlisle. I also spent more than five years volunteering at a local animal shelter, gaining valuable experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments.

I hold a degree in Animal Science from Penn State University, giving me a solid foundation in animal behavior, health, and welfare. My hands-on experience extends beyond dogs to include cats, guinea pigs, and mini donkeys, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal care and behavior across species.
